Discover Your Best Self

“Keep walking, though there’s no place to get to. Don’t try to see through the distances.
That’s not for human beings. Move within, but don’t move the way fear makes you move.” - Rumi

How I Can Help

The driving passion of my life has been human connection. This is evident in every aspect of who I am and what I do for a living. I value other peoples’ perspectives and appreciate authentic connection with people from a wide range of experiences.

As a therapist, I hope to broaden the notion of how therapy can look and feel. In session, I seek to provide a safe, warm, nonjudgmental space where you can come and be seen and valued for who you really are. My style adapts to your needs in the moment and varies from deeply focused and engaged to gently supportive to ridiculous and playful. Just as in life, I feel that therapy can be enhanced by a certain amount of levity, so I tend to incorporate art, movement, play, humor and profanity to facilitate communication of the full range of emotions.

I seek to move away from the notion of therapist as the expert and instead assume the role of trusted companion in the process of self-discovery and radical self-acceptance. For this reason, I rely heavily on Mindfulness, Self-compassion and the Internal Family Systems model to support you in your unique process of reacquainting with your true Self. I feel strongly that each individual already contains the potential to care for and heal themselves.
