Getting Started as a New Client:
Three Easy Steps

Step 1: You reach out
The first step in starting your therapeutic journey is to call 301.960.8960 or fill out our contact form to share your interest in beginning therapy. Please briefly explain the concerns that are leading you to look into therapy. We want to make sure that we are a good fit for what you need. If we are not a good fit or are fully booked at the time of your call, we will offer referrals or offer to join our waitlist.
Our Client Care Coordinator, Jo-Anne, will contact you within 24 hours Monday - Friday.

Step 2: We’ll be in touch
Once we receive your request for therapy, our Client Care Coordinator, Jo-Anne, will be in touch with you to match you with one of our therapists. She will also discuss availability, review insurance and fees, office location, and answer any other initial questions you may have.
You will then have a 10-15 minute phone consultation with the therapist matched with you. During this consultation call, you can ask any questions about the therapy process, share a little bit about what is bringing you to therapy at this time, and learn more about your clinician’s therapeutic style.

Step 3: First appointment
During the phone consultation with the therapist, you will be able to schedule your first session. Once scheduled, you will then receive an email with a link to our secure client portal. Within the portal, you may access and complete all intake documents which must be submitted before your first appointment. You will also be able to request future appointments and see all billing for those appointments.
